Brittany Mahomes inducted into University of Texas at Tyler Athletics Hall of Fame

Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, was inducted into the University of Texas at Tyler Patriot Hall of Fame on October 26, 2024, during the annual ceremony in Tyler, Texas.[1]
Mahomes played forward for the UT Tyler women's soccer team from 2013 to 2016, appearing in 67 matches, scoring 31 goals and recording 14 assists.[1] In her senior year of 2016, she scored a program-record 18 goals in 18 games, including 12 goals from four hat-tricks.[1]
Following college, Mahomes played professionally for UCD Waves FC in Ireland's Women's National League during the 2017 season.[2] She and Patrick Mahomes became founding investors in the Kansas City Current of the National Women's Soccer League in 2020.[2]
In an Instagram post, Mahomes said: "Truly honored to be inducted into the UT Tyler Athletics Hall of Fame! This City and this School is a huge part of who I am today."[2] Patrick Mahomes commented, "Congrats!!!! Love you!"[2]
The couple attended Whitehouse High School together in Tyler, Texas, and have two children.[1][2]
During the induction weekend, the current UT Tyler women's soccer team received Team Mahomes kits and cleats for the 2025 season.[2]
